TakeScreen is a fast and easy way to snap your Desktop, Selection, or last Active Window. The image can be saved in JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, or TIFF format. You can save your snapshots manually or automatically. The saved image can be automatically opened for you, if you want.
It is easy to adjust the quality of taken images. You can adjust the selection youd like to snap. It can be adjusted in pixel, millimetres, centimetres, or even in inches. So the image can have the size you need it on paper.
Image dimensions can be included in the filename, if needed. You can set the application to be always on top, or you can hide it in the tray. You can also set the opacity of the application window.
There is a capability to snap pictures across 2 monitor devices. All can be done by mouse, or hotkeys. There are global hotkeys too. So you can work while the application is hidden.
