Useful with HOSTS files files or DNS Redirector software running on the local machine. SimpleHTTP serves a default.htm .gif .jpg .swf or .js file from it's \wwwroot directory.
Included are a blank page, transparent 1x1 pixel gif, white 1x1 pixel jpg, and 1x1 pixel flash file. You can modify these to be whatever you like, just so long as filename remains default.x

Installation:
Download: SimpleHTTP v3.0.0.2 r04/09/10 This version requires: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
1) Extract the contents of the .zip file (usually to C:\DNSREDIR)
2) Edit SimpleHTTP.ini to include the IP and path of your server
3) Run SimpleHTTP-install.bat to install the service
4) Go to Services and start the SimpleHTTP service

SimpleHTTP has been tested on Windows 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista, 7
