SigCheck is a program used to check signatures in news group articles. Simply have the article in your news client in focus and click on the SigCheck tray icon. A small window will pop up with information concerning the signature (GOOD, BAD, Corrupt, etc.).

A new feature allows you to sign any text also. Have the window containing the data you want to sign in focus, right click on the SigCheck tray iconand select Sign. The first time you use the signing feature after an execution, you will be asked for the passphrase.

SigCheck works with Xnews. To use it on browser based news readers (MesNews), you have to manually copy the signature information into the clip board. Check the 'SigChk ClpBd only' menu item and then click on the tray icon as usual.
