HyperClick allows you to create shortcuts (also known as macros) triggered by a single key, key combination, or mouse click, which perform a series of keystrokes and/or mouse clicks.

HyperSets and Actions are triggered with a pre-defined key combination. In the case of a HyperSet, the trigger enables or disables the group of Actions associated with the Set. For Actions, it activates the shortcut.

For instance, you could set the key combination CTRL+F1 to send a left-click, followed by a right-click, followed by F1, followed by another left-click. Assuming, of course, that there's some program where that combination would do something useful.

A HyperSet is a group of shortcuts which are enabled or disabled with the same trigger. The intent is for a HyperSet to consist of shortcuts that are used for the same game or application. Actions in different HyperSets can have the same trigger, but because only one HyperSet can be active at a time, the trigger will only initiate the Action from that HyperSet.

In order to allow HyperClick to support multiple games or applications, the user can configure HyperSets. Each HyperSet has a number of Actions, and these translate simple input into complex output. Only one HyperSet can be active at a time, and these are enabled and disabled with their own trigger sequence.

For instance, you could have a HyperSet for a certain game, with a trigger of CTRL+F1. When you're playing that game, you can press CTRL+F1, and HyperClick will start watching for your combo shortcuts. Pressing CTRL+F1 again would turn off those combos.

Single-pass actions are either performed once, or repeated a number of times. They are activated by a key, combination, or mouse click. If subsequent single-pass actions are triggered while one is already running, they will be run in the order they were triggered.

Repeating actions run as long as their trigger is held down. If the trigger is released, the action will stop, whether it has completed its current cycle or not.
