It's also able to convert any supported files to raw/divx/mpeg4 AVI (pcm/mp3 audio), and even video grabbing from V4L devices.

1by1 enables you to play entire directories of MP3 files without the need to create or edit a playlist. The program is tiny and very easy to use. It provides a simple interface and a variety of additional features like shuffle, sorting by name, date, shuffle, enhanced mode and some others. This is a basic, but very convenient way to quickly play large numbers of MP3 files without having to fuzz with a fully featured MP3 player.

AlbumPlayer

AlbumPlayer lets you organize and play your MP3, WMA OGG Vorbis, WAV and FLAC audio collection into albums, allowing you to browse through a collection of album covers, rather than file names. AlbumPlayer automatically retrieves the song titles and covers from the internet (All Music Guide or freedb) whenever available. You can create multiple albums and play each one by simply dragging it into the player zone of the interface.

Foobar2000

foobar2000 is a bare bones media player for MP3, WAV, OGG and other media formats. It comes without any bells and whistles, in fact the interface looks like a plain old Windows folder. However, under the hood, the program offers quite a few features, including customizable title formatting, WAV conversion, Equalizer, Resampler, MP3 tag writing, playlists, music album, CD player, drag/drop and more. It also includes all of the standard features like shuffle, random play etc. The program runs in the system tray and uses very few system resources. Additional components (including a Monkey`s Audio decoder) are available to extend the functionality. No documentation provided.

WinJukebox

WinJukebox is a personal jukebox player that can play your music files from a playlist. It allows your guests to add their own song choice by typing in a six digit number which is assigned to each song, printed on a (paper) list. The program automatically creates and prints the list for you based on your song inventory and playlist. We found this process rather inconvenient and would have expected a much easier on-screen selection that does not involve shuffling through pages of paper, and manually entering numbers.

MidWavi Pro

This software is a 32-bit multimedia program for playing audio CDs, full screen video, ASF, AU, MED, MID, MPEG, MP2, MP3, MOD, WAV, BMP, EMF, FIF, GIF, ICO, JPG, WMA, WMF and WMV files. It includes an MPEG tag editor and viewer and batch processing. CDDB is supported as well as multiple CD drives. You can search a drive for any of six fields within MP2 or MP3 files and automatically build a playlist. The CD player has an Intro Scan option for previewing the first 10 seconds of all selected tracks. Graphic files can be sent to a printer or the clipboard. Disk searching includes CDs and mapped network drives. You can play video files in their own window, at original size or full screen. The Play and Display option allows you to play audio files while viewing graphic files.
