Image2Html

Image2Html enables you to convert an image to full-color ASCII art that can be rendered in any web browser. The program analyzes the input image and creates a pattern by using colored font characters that will closely resemble the original image. There are some options to tweak the conversion settings but the default setting do a pretty good job. Image2Html supports conversion of single images, as well as batch conversion. You may have tried the free sevice provided by text-image.com. But their page takes too long to render especially when you are submitting a big image, because you need to upload your local file to their server first before their program start to calculate & render. Their script isn"t so brilliant though, while our highly efficient algorithm helps you batch convert mutiple images within a blink. Image2Html can also apply some stunning effect on the output text-image which you"ll never find on text-image.com or anywhere else. I also managed to invent a compression algorithm which enables you to adjust appropriate quality value (the higher value, the poorer quality) to reduce output file size.

AKVIS Sketch

AKVIS Sketch enables you to convert your photos into pencil/charcoal sketches or watercolor drawings. It provides adjustable sliders that allow you to customize the effects and stroke types and create a variety of image styles by mixing watercolors and charcoal along with color intensity and other settings. When used with Photoshop, AKVIS Sketch also supports batch processing. Unfortunately, the program does not provide any useful presets to get you started, so it may require a lengthy process of hit-and-miss to achieve the desired results. The download includes a standalone version, and a Photoshop compatible plug-in version.

FotoTagger

FotoTagger enables you to add comment tags to your JPG images, that can be viewed from within the FotoTagger viewer, but are invisible in any other viewer. The tags do not modify the image data, but use the comment space that is provided with the JPG format, therefore your original images remain visually unchanged. If you want your comment tags to be visible to all others, you can save a merged copy of the image, which permanently inserts the tag into the photo. The program also integrates with Blogger and Flickr and can upload a merged copy of a tagged image to your blog, or send it by email. FotoTagger includes a search engine that indexes the comment tags in your images, and allows you to instantly find a photo based on the embedded keywords or comment. HTMLColors

This program is a small utility that displays the hexadecimal, decimal and RGB values of a color and can perform conversions between each format. It allows selecting colors and copying values directly from the taskbar icon.

AKVIS Chameleon

AKVIS Chameleon enables you to create smooth image collages by automatically adjusting the inserted objects to the target image color range. The pasted selection does not need to be overly precise, just paste it and then run Chameleon to make the adjustments. It works excellent in some cases, but not as well in others. Unfortunately there are no options to manipulate the results or settings - what you see is what you get, no options to fine-tune. This makes it very easy to use, but also severely limits the flexibility. Requires Photoshop or PS Elements for best results.
