List files with string file information (if available). xDir is a Windows program that help you to display the string file information as well the path, name and extension.

Using xDir
You should start xDir from command prompt or from another program or batch.

Command Line Options
xDir supports the following command-line options:
usage: xDir [[path] [/c] [/d] [/i] [/l] [/o] [/p] [/r] [/v] [/f:name] [/s] [t] [/x] [/? | /h]]

path Path (and/or file specs) where (for) list files..
/c Display the COMPANY NAME information.
/d Display the FILE DESCRIPTION information.
/i Display the INTERNAL NAME information.
/l Display the LEGAL COPYRIGHT information.
/o Display the ORIGINAL FILE NAME information.
/p Display the PRODUCT NAME information.
/r Display the PRODUCT VERSION information.
/v Display the ORIGINAL FILE NAME information.
/f:name Show only files with a matching company name.
/s Show files in the folder and all sub folders.
/t Use TAB as string separator instead of double SPACE.
/x Do not list files without any strings information availables.
/? Displays command-line usage (this help).
/h Displays command-line usage (this help).

Note
If you start xDir without any switch the /C /D /V flags will be activate by default.

Wildcard character into path/filename.extension are allowed in similar way of DIR command.

Return Value
xDir always returns zero.
