vTrace is a free traceroute application. The vTrace is a utility for fast getting a lot of information about target host {visual traceroute from your host, IANA information (WhoIs, ASN for BGP systems), DNS records (like nslookup or DIG), geographical placement, open TCP ports (simple port scanner)...}, and also few information about your machine. For example: geographical map of all TCP connections that you make or somebody is making to you (NetStat), ip statistics.

The vTrace combines the tools traceroute, ping, whois, nslookup (dig), netstat into an easy-to-use graphical interface that analyzes Internet connections to quickly locate where an outage or slowdown occurs. In addition, vTrace identifies the geographical location of IP addresses on a map. While many IP lookup tools only provide network provider locations, this module uses GeoIP location engine to provide a much higher level of accuracy by identifying the actual physical city and country location of servers and routers.

The bundle include vTrace binary, minimal version .net framework (2.0) to run vTrace, GeoDB database and other.
