Make the file system vi-able. Jvifm is a file manager with vi like key bindings. if you love vi editor, you may love the Jvifm. since the Jvifm is written in java, you have to install JRE environment to run the application.

{n}j cursor down
{n}k cursor up
{n}h change current dir to parent dir
{n}l enter dir or edit file
o open file with default program associate to file in system
H move cursor to the list head
M move cursor to the list middle
L move cursor to the list last
^ or gg to the top
$ or G to the bottom
gh change current dir to user home directory
g/ change current dir to file system root
zz pack the file lister column
gt switch to next tab
gT switch to previous tab
v start visual selection mode
t toggle selection of current file
tab or space to switch between two file lister panel.
DD delete the selection files or directory
cc change the file name
dd cut the selection files or directory
yy copy the selection files or directory
YY copy the selection files or directory to system clipboard
p paste the cutted or copyed file or directory
P paste file from system clipboard
s switch bookmark view
/pattern search pattern
n search next pattern
N search previous pattern

command: press ":" enter command mode,current implemented command list as follows
:sleep ,hide the main window
:quit ,quit the application
:sync ,sync between left and right file lister view
:tabnew name ,open a new file lister tab with the name as title
:cd path ,cd the the path
:ls name ,display the designated file, wildcard can be used
:lsall ,list all the files under pwd recursively
:md5sum name ,calculate the md5sum of the file
:sha1sum name ,calculate the sha1sum of the file
:touch name.. ,create the empty file or change the fils's last modified time
:mkdir name.. ,make dir if not exists
:rename from to files ,rename the files by replacing the "from" to "to"
:help ,display this simple help text
