jPSXdec is a new, open source, cross-platform, Playstation 1 media decoder/converter written in Java. Playstation 1 media decoder/converter. Requires Java v5 or higher.

jPSXdec aims to be a high quality decoder with well documented source code.
jPSXdec can be used via the command-line, or as a basic GUI. It can save to a series of images with a wav file, or as an AVI file (your milage may vary).

3. Higher quality output
4. Can decode some unique movie types

jPSXdec is still under development, but the releases should be mostly functional, although under-documented and not heavily tested.
