Xiph Media Encoder is an Aero wizard which help you to transcode automatically audio files in FLAC (lossless compression), Vorbis and Speex (special codec for compressing human voice). The wizard generates very powerful and flexible PowerShell scripts. Transcode automatically audio files in FLAC, Vorbis and Speex.

The generated PowerShell scripts simply use the official command-line encoders : flac.exe, etc.

You can use Xiph Media Encoder 2 to :
1. Encode Wave PCM files in FLAC ;
2. Decode FLAC files in Wave PCM ;
3. Update FLAC files to a newer version of the codec ;
4. Encode FLAC files in Vorbis ;
5. Encode Wave PCM files in Vorbis ;
6. Decode Vorbis files in Wave PCM ;

8. Decode Speex files in Wave PCM.

Xiph Media Creator 2 allows you to :
1. Get tags from the filename and path ;
2. Build filenames according to their tags ;
3. Save files in different folders according to their tags ;
4. Use multicore processors or processors using SSE2 instruction at their best ;
5. Specify the priority of the different operations ;
6. Use all the options provided by command-line encoders ;
7. Shutdown or hibernate the computer when the work is over.
