WIG is a 3D web image browser powered by the image search module of Google. It's simple: Type in a keyword and WIG will start downloading images for you.

WIG is available for Mac OS X and Windows/PC.
No installation is required, simply download, unzip and run WIG.
It will create a cache on your harddrive where you can easily scan the results.

WebImageGrab Features:
- Search in differnet languages:
Set the input language to your language.
choose from the tanslation list in what languages you want to translat to.
WIG will translate your search phrase into all chosen languages (red lines)
in the tanslation list and start a separate image search. (don't chose more than 5...)

- Batch search:
Open a textfile with a list of search phrase
WIG will make searches for every line in this textfile
set the number of simultanious searches in downloadmanager section

- Download Limit:
Set the maximum number of downloads for a search
note that google limits the number of results to 1000
you can work around that limit by make more specific searches with more searchwords

- Imagesize
set the sizes minimum size of the results.

- Filters
Contentfilter: Set to Face News and Fotos Lineart or Clipart
Colorfilter: Set to Black and white, gary or color
Fileformat: Set to png, jpg, bmp or gif
Language filter, set the 'hl' tag from google image search, 'de', 'en', 'fr' ect... go to the contries google site and look for the specific 'hl' tag in the url
Child safe filter, here you can set the adult content filter (you must be over 18 Years to turn this filter off !)

- Image Preview
Turn image preview on off (for more stable batch search)
Turn 3d preview on off (for more stable searches) 3D preview (>1ghz, >32mb vram)

- Downloadmanager
the drop download after option, is the number of seconds wig waits for a requested download befor droping it.
higher numbers might block downloadslots and slow down the search.
max simultanious searches, indicates the number of simultanious searches when you do a batchsearch
Simultanious downloads, indicates the number of simultanious picture download requests per search..

Tips and Tricks
1. use word1 OR word2 to find images related to any of the words.
2. use "exact phrase" to find images related to this exact phrase.
3. use -anyword to find images not related to that word.
4. use 'site:www.sas21.de' to get all images from that site.
5. use'search phrase filetype:pfd' to search for specific filetypes, here pdfs.
6. there is a image source reference text 'img_sources.txt' created with every search.
7. Active Searches Box: you can start more than one search at a time, they will list up in the Active Searches Box, you can stop a searchprocess by clicking it in the list.
