This software changes your the wallpaper with a specified delay or at a specific time. You can organize your wallpapers into multi-level categories, link categories to folders on your hard disk for quick synchronization, and assign time limits to categories.

This section will explain a basic procedure of making an image-list and start cycling. Only the very basics will be explained to get you started quickly. Layouts, effects, RSS news feeds, etc will not be covered here.
1. First run the program. If the software is running, click the 'New' button () on the toolbar (to make sure the list is empty) or go to the 'File' menu and select 'New'. Now you should have an empty list.
2. Use the "Wallpapers > Add Wallpaper > Add Folder Recursively" and select a folder on your hard disk containing wallpapers. When Wallpaper Cycler asks some options, just keep the defaults and click OK.
3. Now, a few categories should have been created as you can see in the left tree in the main window.
4. To setup the cycling options, choose "File > Document Settings".
5. In the tree on the left of the Settings window, select "Wallpaper Cycling". On the right of the window, configure how you would like Wallpaper Cycler to cycle your images. When finished, click OK.
6. To start cycling, just click the 'Start Cycling' button () on the toolbar or go to the 'Tools' menu and select 'Start Cycling'. The software should now begin cycling.
7. You can always close the main window of Wallpaper Cycler. Wallpaper Cycler will keep running in the notification area which are the icons next to the clock of Windows.

You see, it isn't difficult to work with Wallpaper Cycler. Most of the features are rather straight forward and self-explaining. You can find out more about other features in this help-file or just play around with the program.

In Wallpaper Cycler you organize your wallpapers in different categories. On the left of the main window of Wallpaper Cycler there is a tree (see screenshot on the right) and one of the items in this tree is called "My Wallpapers". This is the main category under which all your wallpaper categories will be added. You cannot add wallpapers directly to the "My Wallpapers" categories, instead you will have to create at least 1 category under "My Wallpapers", or let Wallpaper Cycler automatically create an initial category when adding your first wallpaper.

To add a new category, perform the following procedure:
1. With your mouse, right click the category under which you want to create a child-category.
2. In the menu select "Wallpaper Categories" and then "Add Category".
3. A new window will appear. You have to specify a name for the new category. All other options are optional. After specifying the name, click OK.

To rename an existing category, perform the following procedure:
1. With your mouse, right click the category which you want to rename.
2. In the menu select "Wallpaper Categories" and then "Edit Category".
3. A new window will appear where you can rename the selected category and where you change other settings for that category. After you're finished, click OK.

HowTo: Work With Layout Categories (only in Pro version)
In Wallpaper Cycler you organize your layouts in different categories. On the left of the main window of Wallpaper Cycler there is a tree (see screenshot on the right) and one of the items in this tree is called "My Layouts". This is the main category under which all your layout categories will be added.

To add a new layout category, perform the following procedure:
1. With your mouse, right click the category under which you want to create a child-category.
2. In the menu, select "Layout Categories" and then "Add Category".

HowTo: Add Layouts (only in Pro version)
To add a layout, perform the following procedure:
1. With your mouse, right click the category into which you want to add the new layout.
2. In the menu select "Add Layout...".
3. A new window will appear in which you can select a template for your new layout. Select a template in that window and click OK.
4. The layout editor will be opened.
