WISeCrypt (Personal Edition) is an easy-to-use software that provides high security data encryption and protection for individual users. It allows users to securely encrypt and decrypt files using WISeKey CertifyID certificates, thus making it safe to store sensitive data on fixed, or transportable media, and transfer over public networks.
WISeCrypt Personal Edition has been specially designed with an extremely user friendly interface for file encryption/decryption.
When WISeCrypt is installed, a break out WISeCrypt menu appears within the standard Windows explorer. Users can simply right click on a file in Windows Explorer and select WISeCrypt > Encrypt to encrypt the file. Certificates that are used for encryption can be selected from the among the user accessible certificate stores, or can be retrieved from the global WISeKey certificate directory by searching . Similarly users easily decrypt an encrypted file by right-clicking on it and selecting WISeCrypt -> Decrypt, the certificate used for encryption is autodetected, and the private key is used to decrypt the file.
