Pony Visual Search Suite is a set of simple to use, but powerful utilities for media management, including content based image and video retrieval and face recognition (search).

It is possible to locate image files with similar content, or duplicated videos, or photographs of a particular person and many, many more.

1. Visual Image Search
This utility allows to locate photographs, that are looking similar to the one, you specified. It can be used to find all copies of a certain picture on computer, regardless of a filename, resolution, scale, encoding and etc. The program analyses the content of original image and searches for similar data in other graphical files.
The software can be used to:
(1). find an appropriate picture for your website from a huge database;
(2). organize materials from a photographic session;
(3). find an original image, using just a thumbnail or compressed copy of the photograph;
(4). check if websites hosted on your server, contain certain images;
(5). any application which requires the user to check images against an original;

2. Visual Video Search
This program is intended to locate similar video content in movie files. You can specify some clip and find original video on disk, regardless of it's name, resolution, scale, encoding and etc. The key feature of this software is that it uses some sort of content description to locate files, not their names or other tags.

3. Face search
This is specialized version of Visual Image Search, which allows to specify some photograph with face(s) on it and find other pictures of that person(s) on your computer. The program detects faces on image and builds some description of their visual appearance, smth. like distance between eyes, form of nose and etc. Then it searches for faces with similar characteristics in other photographs and returns the most looking like as result.

The program can be very useful, for navigation and management of big photography archives, personal information data bases and other collections of photographs.
