Virtual Drives is a simple program to mount folders as virtual drives (with an assigned letter like C:\ etc.).A simple but complete GUI for "subst" DOS command, an utility that allow to mount any directory as a drive (like "C:\", "A:\" and so on).
Its much more comfortable than using the tool from the command line or by the meanders of the control panel. Quickly create, mount and unmount virtual drives using this simple application.
Virtual Drives Features:
1. Really simple Graphical User Interface (obviously)
2. Unmounting of all virtual drives in a single step (even that drives mounted outside the program)
3. System tray icon so that the main window can be closed to not disturb. This allows to open a mounted drive or to unmount all drives without need to reopen main window
4. Mounted drive are persistent to application until reboot (in future version I may add the "remount on boot" functionality)
5. Application doesn't use persistent data, so you can install it on a USB Drive and use it as portable application
6. Freeware and compatible with all modern versions of Windows, both the 32 and 64 bit editions (setup automatically determines the correct version to install)
