Read your mail and news with this client. Virtual Access is a mature and well established Windows mail, news and conferencing product which is in the process of being converted to open source. The product is well supported and has an extensive and experienced user community.

If you have upgraded from an existing VA installation then all your settings will remain unchanged and your full messagebase will be available as before.

If you made a fresh installation of VA the installer will have run the VA program once to build the initial messagebase folders. These are filled with useful messages explaining how VA works and it is useful to read through them.

This version of VA is designed to support spell checking using an external spell checker program. An interface is provided for the free Open Source GNU ASpell spellchecker, which must be downloaded separately.
