Software Video Conferencing Server. VideoPort VCS is a modern program product designed for multipoint video conferencing both inside the LAN and via Internet. The server allows to hold up to 250 conferences at a time with up to 100 users. VideoPort Client Applications run on Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows Mobile 6.x. operating systems.

VideoPort VCS Server
This component is a utility video server. It gets installed as Windows operating system service and provides:

2. Client connection, including connection through NAT's and proxy servers;
3. Media stream retranslation when direct stream translation is not possible.

VideoPort VCS Manager
This component is dedicated to server component configuring. VideoPort VCS Manager provides:

VideoPort Plus
This is a client application. It is installed on the users' computers and allows making and receiving of video calls. VideoPort Plus provides:

Functionality
1. Point-to-Point Video Call - call between two users where both participants are able to see and hear each other
2. Multipoint Video Conference - allows up to 16 participants to all see and hear each other at the same time. Also known as multi-user video conference
3. Video Lecture - allows 16 participants to see and hear only the lecture owner while the owner can see and hear all of the participants simultaneously
4. Virtual Meeting - role-based multipoint video conference which can bring up to 100 participants together in a single video conference where up to 3 persons selected in real-time by the conference owner can be seen and heard by everyone. This type of conference is very useful for meetings and allows every participant to play an active role while maintaining low bandwidth and minimizing screen-estate usage
5. Text messaging via instant messaging, or chat
6. File transfer enables sending different types of files directly to participants without third-party solutions or equipment
7. Slide show helps to easily broadcast images and PowerPoint presentations to every participant in your conference
8. Screen sharing enables a live video broadcast of your desktop screen to your participants
9. Video call recording option allows recording video and audio streams from all participants to a single file for future reference or editing
10. Whiteboard is a dedicated paint window in which you and your participants can simultaneously draw and manage basic shapes and objects, type and edit text, insert pictures and snapshots from your screen with the help of various graphic tools

* Number of on-line users connected to the server is limited to 9;
* Your trial server has to be connect to the Internet all the time (NAT connections are supported, Proxy not supported) using TCP 4310 port for license information exchange. Only information regarding server start and registration is transfered, along with anonymous usage statistics. Full version doesnt require such connection;
* User database is pre-filled with fixed logins and passwords;
* Video conference duration is limited to 15 minutes. No more than 4 simultaneous conferences is allowed on the trial server;
