ViSEN is a visualization tool for statistical epistasis networks. A network visulization of 2-way and 3-way statistical epistasis! You can:
1. use the controls to add/remove 2- and 3-way interactions,
2. move the nodes around and zoom with the mouse wheel, and
3. visualize your own SNP file.

The ViSEN software analyzes and visualizes non-linear interactions among discrete attributes, e.g. SNPs, that are predictive of a discrete outcome, e.g. case-control status. The ViSEN softwre quantifies both pairwise and three-way epistatic interactions using information-gain measures and visualizes three orders of effects, i.e. main effects, pairwise and three-way interactions, simultaneously in one network. The circular nodes are attributes, solid-line edges represent pairwise interactions, and triangles represent three-way interactions. The area of the grometric shapes and with of the edges indicate their strength.

ViSEN have a set of controls that allow the user to reposition the nodes and the triangles for fine-tuning. The user can also zoom in or out using the mouse wheel.
