|
Program and Database updates are available via Trojan Remover's integral Updater. To update, start Trojan Remover - when you get to the main screen, click on the "Update" button on the main menu bar. This will check for updates and allow you to automatically install any that are available.
Should you have any problems using the integral Updater, or you need to re-install the latest Program Update, you can download and install the Program Update from one of the links below.
Trojan Remover was written to aid in the removal of Trojan Horses and Internet Worms when standard anti-virus program has either failed to detect the problem or is unable to impactfully eliminate it.
Trojan Remover has been written for Windows 95/98/NT/ME/XP. It has been successfully used by Windows 2000 users, although this platform has not been officially tested. The majority of Virus and Trojan Scanners are well able to detect malicious Trojan Horses and Internet Worms but are not always very efficient in removing them once they have been triggered.
Trojan Remover was written specifically to carry out such a removal without the user having to manually edit system files, including the Registry. The software also removes the additional system modifications some Trojans carry out which are ignored by other Virus and Trojan Scanners.
Ensure that Trojan Remover is closed before you install the Program Update. If you save the trj681.exe file to your computer you can delete it after you have installed the Update.
Scheduling Unattended Updates
You can schedule regular unattended Trojan Remover updates using the Windows Task Scheduler. Information on how to do this is in the Trojan Remover helpfile - start Trojan Remover and select Help > Contents > Updating > Scheduling Automatic Update Checks.
The license of this software is Freeware, you can free download and free use this antivirus update software.
