Toinkit enables you to share mp3 files, images, documents and bookmarks directly from your PC, without the need to upload them to a web host. The program installs a local web server that streams the content directly from your PC and allows you to generate links for temporary sharing of files, which can be sent via any instant messenger of by email. You can send links to individual files, photo albums or entire collections which are then presented in a browser interface, which (to our disappointment) also displays an advertising banner. You can also access all of your shared files from anywhere via the Toinkit.com websites, provided that your home computer is online.
