Command Line Options
cleaner7.exe [/update] [/smart] [filename]

For example
cleaner7 /update

will update the program and database, then exit.
cleaner7 /smart
will perform a smart scan, then exit. You will be able to see the results of the scan in the log file.

What is the Whitelist?
The whitelist is a list of files and folders that you do not want to be scanned. These can include large image folders, music folders or a specific file you want left alone.
When The Cleaner scans it will check this list before doing anything with the file.

What is DeepScan
DeepScan allows The Cleaner to look into the file and scan it for similarities between the current file and previously seen malware. This will catch malware that is new and is not in the database. The trade-off is that DeepScan takes a little longer to look at each file so it isn't as fast.

Limitations:
* 30 uses
1. No connection to live news at startup
2. No auto-check for updates at startup
3. No Real-time scanner included
4. No Helper Service included, this may limit the ability to remove rootkits.
5. The Cleaner will not attempt to upgrade the program or check for program updates, database updates work as normal.

Please Note: The Cleaner Portable is not suitable to be fun off a CD/DVD-ROM, only a USB drive.
