We've come across a slight issue with the new installer and the AVG Security software. During some installations, the install software is reported to be a Trojan Horse piece of malware.
This is simply a case of the antivirus program doing its job too well. The toybox does check our site for updates and for new toys, but does not, has never and never will contain any spyware or malware.
You can safely allow the installation process to do its thing, and if your firewall asks you if you want to block the toybox's net access, don't let it (unless you don't want any new toys!)

Screen Resolution and Color Depth

Souptoys requires you to be running in at least 16-bit color. The toys may not display properly on your desktop if you are running in 256 Colors. If you are running in 256 Colors, you should switch to 16-bit color or better.

Multiple Screens

The Souptoys Toybox looks outstanding in a multiple screen environment and when doing so the Toybox will use your primary screen to operate on. At present there are some limitations to how the toys work on multiple screens especially when they are side by side, but a setup we have found fun to use is having the secondary monitor displayed on top of the primary.

My Toys Run Slowly

The most likely cause for this is that you have too many toys open... Clean your room! The physics engine we use, while mind-bogglingly brilliant and wonderful, IS bound by the power of the modern day PC. So, while our hardworking boffin is chained to his desk every day optimizing the code, there's only so much a hunk of refined sand and wires can do. There are some things we know that can help. If you go into the Settings tab of your Display properties and select the 'Advanced' button, another window pops up with its own array of fun. If you go into the one marked 'Troubleshooting' (how appropriate!) and slide the 'Hardware Acceleration' slider as low as it will go, we've found this can help speed up the toys on a variety of systems.
