In addition, you can analyze error reports, keywords and search phrases by scanning the server log files on a regular basis and even monitor your position in the search engines. The server log files can be accessed via FTP, secure FTP or local file. You can use Site Vigil to alert you when a web page has been modified, a server has become unavailable, page access is slow etc. Using the log scanning feature, you can also be notified of unexpected surges or lulls in visitor traffic. The software can notify you of problems via email, sound, system events and in several other ways. A built-in scheduler allows you to run all monitoring actions automatically.
