SingPoint ( formerly SingAlong Player) is a useful software designed to help you create, play and sing karaoke like song files by incorporating midi files (created by third-party software). You can also capture the screen video and sound, and convert the captured file to WMV, which can be later uploaded to video web sites like YouTube.com and GodTube.com for public or private viewing. This guide will explain a few basic concepts of SingPoint 2011 that may help you use this software with ease.

Set Preference
You can set the value of various parameters in this panel. They include text color, font name and size, and outline text options.
Play
In the main console, you can simply click a button to play a song file (with file extension of .mde)

Capture
For Windows Vista / 7 Users, you can capture your singing voice, midi sound and also the screen being played and save it to a capture file for conversion. A maximum length of 10 minutes can be recorded.

Encode
Convert the above captured file(s) to WMV / WMA. You can either convert a file or do a batch conversion of many files in a folder.
