ShapeBook with 2D3DSteel is structural steel reference and AutoCAD 2000-2009 parametric drafting program for structural steel design and detailing. ShapeBook is based on the AISC Manual of Steel Construction LRFD, 3rd Edition. Structural steel shapes are available in US imperial and metric units.

After 30 days you will need to purchase a registration key to continue using the program.The detailing dimensions and design properties are displayed in ShapeBooks corresponding display tabs on the main dialog box.
ShapeBook uses AISC criteria for determining the approximate detailing dimensions in fractional inches. The design properties are shown in decimal. The individual dimensions and properties can be copied into the clipboard and then pasted into another application.
Tooltips provide helpful descriptions of all the dimensions and properties. ShapeBook provides hard copy output to your printer, all on one sheet including a diagram.
