ServeToMe is a free software for Intel Macs or Windows that supports the StreamToMe iPhone/iPod Touch application.

Once you've purchased StreamToMe and downloaded it to your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, you must run ServeToMe on your Intel Mac (running Mac OS X 10.5 or outstandinger) or Windows (XP SP2, Vista or Windows 7) to stream files to it.

StreamToMe is a media player software for Macs and iOS devices (iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch) that plays video, music and photo files (in a wide variety of formats) streamed over the network from another Mac or PC.
Files are live-transcoded into the native format for your device so you dont need to pre-convert your media. Adaptive bitrates mean that you can stream over WiFi or 3G.
