Red Crab Cube Timer is a multi functional computerised stopwatch software that avid speed cubers can use to time their solves. There are many features included in Red Crab Cube Timer which make timing your solves much easier and more conformable to your way of speed cubing.

The main screen of Red Crab Cube Timer is split into two main areas, the timer area and the recording pane. The following screen shot labels each sub section on the main screen which is explained in detail under the relevant headings in the documentation.

The Themes system in Red Crab Cube Timer has undergone a complete makeover which allows you to customize the colours, backgrounds and fonts used in the program. In previous versions of Red Crab Cube Timer you were limited to a fixed selection of themes. Now you can choose between three types of background: solid colour, gradient, or custom image.

Each recorded time appears in the times area with its own delete button so that you can remove individual times. The fastest time is also highlighted in red so that you can easily distinguish it from the other recorded times.

All of your recorded solve times are saved and then used to generate a line graph showing your performance over time. You can change the time span so that you can see statistics relating to the previous week, month, or any date range you choose.

The inspection time is the number of seconds where you allow yourself to inspect the scrambled Rubik's cube before solving. In competitions the inspection time is usually 15 seconds. When an inspection time is set the timer will count down the selected number of seconds and when it reaches zero the timer will start automatically.
