Quick JPEG Resize and Crop allows you to crop and alter the size of JPEG images and adjust their quality setting. It is useful if you have something like an 10 megapixel camera which takes very large images, but most of the pictures you take arent worth using that much disk space for.
Some pictures will be worth keeping at the original size, of course, but most of them could shrunk down to 1600x1200 or smaller and frequently they can be improved by cropping the image to remove extaneous material.
