PureAgent monitor real users accessing your application! PureAgent monitors response times from the agent to a server, by replaying transactions at specified intervals. This includes static and dynamic web applications as well as other server applications. Response times are collected and alarms can be sent if performance and availability goals are not fulfilled.

You configure the agent and view results using a standard Web Browser.

Why monitor a client activity?
Standard monitoring solutions monitors server processor performance, disk performance, memory utilization etc. on back-end systems.

But what is missing in most cases is information about response-times and availability from a user perspective. Response times should be gathered from both inside and outside a fire-wall, and be used to provide data that ensures that the web site is working properly and that response times (end-to-end user experience) are acceptable. This is what PureAgent will do for you, by monitoring a client activity!

PureAgent is managed using a standard web browser. The web interface allows you to handle activities, view response times, history, alarms etc.

History graphs and reports
PureAgent persistently store the result of every measurement. These result may be visualized as graphs. Reports can be tailored in flexible manner.

Alarm Reports
Failures or timeouts can be reported as Alarms and viewed. PureAgent can be also configured to send Email on alarms. Integration toward other systems is also possible.

Creation and Testing Activities
Activities are created and tested by creating Scenarios using PureTest. This means that all the features of PureTest is available when yo create your scenarios, including recording of HTTP requests, debug and design, etc.
