PrestoNotes lets you create virtual notes on your desktop, that can be hidden or shown as needed. Each note can be customized in color and font, and even include an image files. Furthermore, you can set recurring alarms that are associated with a note, update or launch a local file when the note changes and more.
PrestoNotes also includes a small email checker, that can notify you when new mail arrives in your POP account. The software runs in the system tray and lets you manage all active notes from a main interface, that allows you to easily show or hide any note.
Each note can be entirely customized, including:
* Image (each note has a text side and an image side)
* Background and text colour
* Transparency
* Character fonts
* Title bar
* Scroll bar
* Position and size
* Always on top of other windows, or not
* Possibility to open or save in an external file (.txt)
Add an automatic reminder to any note:
* One-time or repeated (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly)
* Option to precise the exact time
* Advance reminder (1-59 minutes, 1-23 hours, or 1-30 days before event)
When a reminder is activated, one or more action can be performed :
* Show the note on the screen
* Ring a bell or play a sound (.wav) of your choice
* Start a software of your choice
* Achieve a chosen operation through its associated application software
* Randomly change Windows wallpaper or screensaver
* Shut down Windows (XP/2000 only)
The notes may be accessed through the control panel, or through a simple context menu sitting in the Windows toolbar. So, you can show or hide a note with only 2 mouse clics !
PrestoNotes is totaly multilingual thanks to the addition of language files. English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, Dutch, Polish and Swedish languages are included in the installation package, but you can easily create and add a new language for the program.
