Preferences Cleaner is a Firefox addon, can manage the install and uninstall process of addons, allows you to automatically delete the settings when you remove the extension, or an opportunity to do it manually later for each remote extension.
Also provides the capability to detect and remove "unbound" settings (the settings that are not declared in defaults \ prefs of any of the extensions installed).
