Professional quality color correction. PhotoTune features a state-of-art automatic correction algorithm called eye-fidelity originally developed by imsense. In a single click, this amazing new eye-fidelity technology will correct the brightness, contrast, color and dynamic range of any photo. This goes way beyond a simple auto-levels or shadow-highlight adjustment. It actually remaps tones to increase the dynamic range and make it appear more true-to-life, the way your eye saw the scene when you first captured the digital photo.

PhotoTune is designed to correct your dynamic range, color and basic sharpness of your image. In short it is to be used to optimize, or make your image look like it did in real life. This process is generally done very early in your workflow process and should happen before any special effects or image resizing takes place.

PhotoTune supports any 8 or 16 bit RGB file that can be opened by Adobe Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. This includes Jpeg, PSD and TIF as well as Raw files from digital cameras and many other formats. If you routinely work in Grayscale or CMYK, simply convert your image RGB before using PhotoTune.

By default, PhotoTune functions on a copy of the current layer. That means it will create a new layer above your target layer that contains all of the information in layer below it. In the preferenes you can also select the option to have PhotoTune only work on a the target layer.

PhotoTune works on any pixel containing layer. This does not include adjustment layers or text layers. It does support selections.

PhotoTune will operate as a trial version for 30 days from when it is installed. It will place a subtle watermark over the results in Photoshop when in trial mode.
