Meta Description & Title on Top is a Firefox extension that places the title and meta description of a web page below the tab bar.

By selecting from the "Tools" menu "Show meta description and title" a 'toolbar' will appear that will show you the current content of the tag '<meta name="description"' and the title of the webpage.
