Medix Doctor is the only patients records and appointments management software which does not need to be installed on a computer. You can manage the patients records and your appointments from any computer without having to install the program.

Most importantly, no information from your medical archive will be saved on the computer: the entire medical archive and appointments will be saved only in the USB stick.

Upon removal of the USB stick no evidence of the medical archive are left in the computer.

To be reassured that no one will be able to read your medical records and appointments, if you lose the USB stick, the software offers two levels of security:
1. you can activate the user authentication (using "username" and "password" your own choice) when opening the program.
2. when is activated the previous level of security is also possible to encrypt the medical archive every time you close the application.

Functions:
1. Patients folders: patient record, anamnesy, vaccinations, visits, appointments and relatives.
2. Appointments: general or associated with a patient.
3. Calendar: display and manage your appointments. Day, week, month view and advanced appointment search function.
4. Contacts: comprehensive address list for your personal, professional and patiens contact details.
5. Patients relatives: view and edit your patients relatives (especially useful for children patients).
6. Multiple editing: you can view and edit together several records and appointments.
7. Archive management: create a back-up of your medical archive - encrypted or unencrypted - and restore a previous version of the archive.
8. Program updates: keep up to date with the latest versions of the program: easy operation, stored directly in the USB memory key.

Operation modes
1. Normal: just insert the USB stick in the computer and double click the "doctor-app" (or "doctor-app.exe") file in the USB drive.
2. Remote: run the software in your home computer and access it from the sick bay computer. In this mode, you can also manage your data from your iPad or an other mobile device having a browser and an internet connection.

How to use:
1. Save the file "doctor-setup-en.exe" and then follow the next steps to install it in the USB stick:
2. Copy the file "doctor-setup-en.exe" in the USB stick.
3. Open the USB drive.
4. Double click on file "doctor-setup-en.exe".
In the window that opens press the button "Install" and wait the installation to complete.
[It may take more than 10 minutes for the software to be installed in the USB stick.]
In the USB stick you will find the following files:
- doctor
- doctor-app (or doctor-app.exe)
- doctor-setup-en (or doctor-setup-en.exe)
5. Double click on file "doctor-app" to start the program.
6. You can delete the file "doctor-setup-en.exe" from the USB stick.
