Map&Guide base is a brand-new type of route planner for Europe. It combines the advantages of an online route planner with those of a desktop route planner: All the route planning functions are provided via the map&guide portal. Every registered user can download and install these functions on a local computer. The basic version can be used for free. Premium functions such as alternative routing, vehicle manager, address manager and toll calculation (from 02/2007) can be tested for two weeks free-of-charge. After this period, premium functions are available from ?14.90 plus VAT per month. The modular structure of the program ensures that users only pay for the functions that they have subscribed to - and nothing more.
