KVIrc is a free portable IRC client based on the excellent Qt GUI toolkit. KVirc is being written by Szymon Stefanek and the KVIrc Development Team with the contribution of many IRC addicted developers around the world.

KVIrc also contains a sophisticated scripting language that allows you to implement automated reactions to the network events. This is something similar to creating a robot that acts spontaneously after you have told him what to do. The scripting language allows you to enchance the KVIrcs interface and to handle special IRC network features that KVIrc itself is not aware of.
