On Windows, Blackmagic's full resolution (1920 x 1080) professional quality compressed HD codec can capture JPEG AVI files in real time using Premiere Pro.

3. Editing with Apple Final Cut Pro
Edit in Final Cut Pro with Intensity Pro, while using the highest quality uncompressed video, or choose DVCPRO HD and ProRes 422, which are higher quality and faster than native HDV.
