It displays the photo and art canvas side-by-side and a synchronized paint brush allows you to paint the canvas using the selected paint tools and your own style of brush strokes. Gertrudis automatically performs a topological analysis of the image content and builds a matrix of flow direction vectors, that can assist you in the process. The result can be saved in JPG, BMP and TIF format or exported to Postscript. The demo version allows you to work with 8 sample images, you cannot load your own photos.
