Provides additional deployment abilities. The Forefront Client Security Deployment Tool is a free toolkit that is meant to provide additional deployment abilities in addition to those who are available with the RTM Version of FCS.
This software gives network and security administrators the capability to scan their network and/or AD, discover existing solutions that are already installed on their clients, uninstall the existing solution and install FCS Client - all in one.

Forefront Client Security is an Anti-Malware software developed by Microsoft and it is currently running in its first version. One of the things that the software lacks is the capability to do deploy its client agents independently (with help of external distribution mechanisms) and the capability to remove existing 3rd party Anti-Virus applications before the installation.

Installation Procedure
1. Extract the Zip file into a specified folder on the management server.
2. Copy the deployFiles directory from the FCS Deployment tool folder into the shared 32bit client installation directory.
3. Copy the deployFiles directory from the FCS Deployment tool folder into the shared 64bit client installation directory.
