Estlcam 2.5D is a convenient 2.5D geometry design application, provide you with a simple and easy-to-use means of loading and editing DXF and STL files. You can create new designs of your own, scale, mirror and rotate the objects and even more.

Estlcam 2,5D can open the following file types:
1. .dxf (2D drawings)
2. .stl (3D models / the desired view needs to face upwards)
3. .e25 (Estlcam 2,5D project files)

Supported.dxf Objects:
1. Lines
2. Polylines
3. Circles
4. Arcs
5. Ellipses
6. Elliptic Arcs

All other objects like e.g. dimensions, text (if not made of the above mentioned objects) and unfortunately also splines can't be used directly (i don't understand the mathematics behind splines). If your drawing uses this kind of objects they need to be converted to line- or arc- segments first. Autocad and some other CAD Programs have commands for this - but usually it also works by just saving the drawing in the old "R12" DXF version. Another alternative - if you have the part in 3D - is to save as STL.
