Sync your Exchange GAL with BlackBerry and iPhone devices. Epicenter Server gives your users their own local copy of the corporate address list. Once the contacts are in each user's mailbox in Outlook, their smartphone can synchronize with it. Updates are automatically updated and distributed to keep contacts are kept up to date. No additional program is required on the BlackBerry or iPhone.

Epicenter allows organizations to update BlackBerry, iPhone and Windows Mobile users with a copy of the corporate address book or any other list of contacts. Epicenter solves the problem of smartphones that can only sync with personal address lists.

Epicenter Server can be configured in any combination of these update strategies:
1. Exchange mailbox updates
Epicenter copies the source address list into each user's mailbox in Exchange and are automatically updated as the source address list changes. Changes are then automatically synchronized wirelessly to the devices.

2. Public Folder updates
Epicenter copies the source address list, typically all or part of the Exchange GAL, into a single Public Folder in Exchange, which is then distributed by the BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES). This strategy can only be used by BlackBerry devices paired with BES 5.

3. e-mail attachment updates
Epicenter sends out each update as an attachment to email. Users who receive that attachment double click it to update their local address list. This strategy is intended to update address lists for POP3 users and is typically not used for updating martphones.

You install Epicenter Server on a single computer. Installation is easy and takes less than five minutes. During installation, you configure Epicenter Server by telling it which address list to distribute, who should receive the address list, and how often to send updates. The address list could be your Exchange GAL, an Exchange address book, or an Exchange Public Folder.

Once you've configured Epicenter Server, updates are sent automatically on your given schedule. Users wirelessly receive updates, which appear in the address list on their BlackBerry or iPhone. No user involvement is required.

Epicenter supports all devices that can sync contacts through Exchange ActiveSync or through BlackBerry Enterprise Server, including but not limited to:
1. BlackBerry 8000 and 9000 models.
2. iPhone with iOS version 3 or version 4.
3. Windows Mobile phones.
4. Other phones based on ActiveSync.
The Android G1 is not supported.
