ClonyXXL is a copyprotection detection scanner, which can show what kind of protection is used on a disc. It will provide you with the right settings for CloneCD, so you can make a working copy of the disc. it will detect the copy protection on a cd, like safedisc or securom. All you need to do is insert the disc, and hit scan. Clony will scan the cd, report back to you what protection it has and how hard it will be to copy the cd. Clony XXL has unlimited options which you can pick to scan a cd for accurte and results. It can also detect all known copy protections to date in about 20 seconds. This is a outstanding utility everyone should have, and is a must have appliance for those who wish to make successful backups of your protected cd's. When you know the protection you then need to copy the cd, which can be very hard.

ClonyXXL detects at least the following protection schemes:
SafeDisc, SafeDisc v2, SecuROM, DiscGuard, CD-Cops, LaserLock, Cactus Data Shield, Lock Blocks, ProtectCD, PSX/Lybcrypt, CD-Check, Dummy Files, Oversize & Illegal TOC protection.

Installtion:
Expand clonyxxlcz.zip and then run clonyxxl.exe and let it install what it should be.

How to use: (with Alcohol 120% and Alcoholer)
Step 1. Start ClonyXXL and insert the Copy Protected CD/DVD in you Optical Drive and select that particular Drive.
Step 2. Hit the Scan Button. Keep the default scan options.
Step 3. After a few time it will ask if you have installed the contents of the CD on your PC if its a game then point the folder where the game in intalled or click cancel if you have not installed. Then after scanning has been finised it will show you the copyprotection used by that CD/DVD. Note: The more the number of Skulls the more complicated and tougher to break copy protection is used.
Step 4. Now Open Alcoholer select the copy protection detected by ClonyXXL if only skulls were detected with Unknown Protection select General Protected CD. Launch Alcohol120% from Alcoholer.
Step 5. Now automatically all the copyprotection settings for that particular copyprotection will be passed on to Alcohol.Select Alcoholer Profile from the Dropdown Box in Alcohol.
Step 6. Now create a Image as .mds and save it on your HDD anywhere.
Step 7. Now to Check if the Image is created properly just mount that image in Alcohol120% virtual drive and scan that image with ClonyXXL.It should show the same protection as shown with the CopyProteced CD/DVD
Step 8. Now burn the Image to the CD/DVD with Alcohol 120% thats it Done.
