Bt default CLIP-it! records the entire screen then scales it to one-quarter it's original size. You may be thinking "that's going to be difficult to see what's going on" well don't worry, CLIP-it! allows you to add zooms and pans to your video clip so you can emphasise specific screen areas to get your point across.

There's also an alternate recording mode that follows the mouse pointer around the screen. This mode records a quarter of the screen with the mouse pointer centred. If you have a very focussed requirement this may be more suitable- as a bonus it produces finished clips even faster as there is no need to add zooms or pans !

CLIP-it! can also capture mouse activity and record any audio coming through your systems loudspeakers (Only on Windows Vista or Windows Seven ) from ANY source (CD/DVD/Web video etc.)- even sounds generated by Windows.

Limitations:
* will only record for 15 seconds
* clips cant be compressed
