Benetl is a free ETL tool for files working with postgreSQL and MySQL, managing CSV, TXT and XLS datasource files. With Benetl you can easily extract, transform, and load data from your datasource files.

In order to launch Benetl, you have to use "etltool_gui.bat" from "C:\Benetl". You can learn more about "etltool_gui.bat" at: 9. EtlTool running and 11. Files of an EtlTool. Then you have to choose a folder and a datasource file (.txt or .csv extensions).

In order to retrieve data, you have to define an entity (something you would like to show, to calculate), a date (it is a timesamp, a moment an event appears).

Benetl is creating everything you can use, in a postgreSQL or MySQL database.

Benetl is also proposing an automatic way to retrieve data, using scheduled tasks of your system.

With Benetl, you can easily retrieve information from flat data files, filtering them and organizating them, according to date (timestamp) and entity.

Requirements:
1. A Java Runtime 1.6 (JRE)
2. A postgreSQL or a MySQL database
