Keep hundreds of notes in one file then connect these notes by inserting links between them. WhizNote can remember your note window positions. You can also print a collection of notes with an automatic table of contents. It has a separate text file editor that allows you to customize its right-click menu for inserting custom text with sophisticated template features. This can be used to make your own HTML templates. When editing HTML files, you can test HREF links by double-clicking and you can test your Web page in a browser even with local Web sites using a personal Web server. You can also use WhizNote to turn your notes into WinHelp files, provided you have Microsoft WinHelp Compiler on your system.

How nice it would be if Notepad remembers a new text file type (extension) as soon as you edit it.
