Audiggle
|
Song search engine based on sound for your computer. Have you ever thought - 'what is the name of that song?'. Audiggle can provide the answer! Audiggle is the definitive music ID software. Whatever the source of music on your computer, one click of the mouse can give you the title and artist.
Audiggle program captures a short clip of whatever audio is playing on your PC. It then searches a huge database of similar clips, and returns the answer.
The source of audio is irrelevant. As such, potential media might include:
1. Watching a TV show/movie - e.g. DVD
2. Online video e.g. YouTube
3. Streaming online TV e.g. Hulu
4. Internet Radio
5. Mislabelled audio tracks
6. And many more!
You will be asked to configure the program for your system. Please follow the simple instructions on screen. Audiggle will recommend options wherever possible.
1. Select a recording option
This is a list of all the available recording inputs on your PC. If there are multiple options, choose one and test it.
2. Select a recording line
This is a list of recording lines on your selected recording input. If there is only one option avaible, you can skip this step and go straight to (3).
3. Audio Test.
You will hear a short audio clip played on your speakers (please ensure they are not muted, and the volume is loud enough). Audiggle will then try to record the clip and play it back. If you can hear the clip, Audiggle is succesfully configured for your PC. If not, select a different configuration in (1)(/2) and test again.
Please note, several configurations may work on your PC. When first using Audiggle, we suggest you try a test search. To do this, open up your favourite media player (e.g. iTunes, Windows Media Player, WinAmp etc), play a song by a well known band and try to search for it using Audiggle. This will confirm that everything is configured correctly.
