The complete device management solution. Tibbo AggreGate is a multi-industry device management platform that employs modern network technologies to control, configure and monitor different electronic devices. It also helps you to aggregate device data into a common database, where you can "slice and dice" it according to your needs, as well as let other enterprise applications transparently access it.

AggreGate saves costs and simplifies setup when trying to create a large network of devices and computers which are spread over a local network or the Internet. It introduces new concepts in M2M (Machine-2-Machine) technology.

AggreGate provides a rich set of features for managing/monitoring device networks, processing data, and integration with other enterprise systems using open-source APIs. The core components are Java-based and may be deployed on most present-day hardware and operating systems.

Connecting your devices to the system is easy and cost-impactful. Any existing device may work with AggreGate regardless of its communication protocol even if it's not network-enabled. You can bridge your existing devices into the system using a programmable controller (such as Tibbo's DS1000 BASIC-programmable Industrial Controller or EM1202 Embedded Module), by implementing AggreGate communication protocol in your own device, or by protocol conversion via program device drivers. For new designs, the programmable controller can be built directly into the product.

Devices that use standard automation, control and monitoring protocols (such as OPC, Modbus, BACNet, SNMP etc.) are supported directly, no software/hardware protocol conversion is required. See AggreGating Your Devices section for more information.

AggreGate helps many different industries and companies to benefit from direct management of large networks of legacy devices or connecting them to the enterprise systems based on open standards.
Typical solutions include network monitoring, data center management, industrial and home automation, machinery, telecommunications, security and access control, time and attendance control, medical devices, laboratory equipment, life sciences, retail, transportation, etc.

Benefits of using AggreGate for Device Management
Immediate Benefits:
1. Fast deployment and easy integration with existing enterprise software: AggreGate lets you leverage your existing infrastructure. No need to ditch anything you are currently using, or re-train your employees to use some new system. Take what you have, an expand on it.
2. Predictive maintenance and automated operations: Vending machines can "call home" to let you know stock is running low, well before it runs out. This is just one example.
3. Integrating most typical device management operations in a single distributed system: You don't need third-party applications for solving most typical device management tasks.
4. Highly scalable and flexible architecture, easy customization for the customer's needs: you can have "your own" branded program system.
5. Multi-user client-server environment, configurable access permissions: Allow multiple roles in your organization access your device, but all on a "need to know" basis. Maximum availability along with maximum security - a winning combination.
6. Automated reactions to alert conditions, including automatic execution of corrective actions: Common problems will be solved without intervention of system operators.
7. User-defined business rules triggering interactive and non-interactive execution of custom procedures: Even in normal operating conditions many machine-to-machine, machine-to-enterprise and machine-to-human interactions may be automated and joined into complex chains.

Long-Term Benefits:
1. Reduced operational costs: By using reports and alerts you will know exactly what goes on in your distributed system. Points of waste (of time, money or other resources) will 'pop out'. Optimizing becomes obvious and easier.
2. Reduced number of human errors: Manual alert acknowledgements increase operator accountability. Also, automated business rules and non-interactive actions performed on alerts allow the system to auto-correct some errors.
3. High ROI: With reduced downtimes, your revenue-generating infrastructure will be working harder and more efficiently.
4. Increased customer satisfaction, due to increased overall efficiency: With your system working as a concerted whole, customers enjoy a unified experience.
