Study kinematics and projectile motion with this simulation. 2 Kinetmatics Racers set initial parameters for two objects that will then undergo either accelerated or constant velocity motion. You can set the start position (x), initial velocity (v) and the acceleration (a) of both the RED and GREEN objects at the top.

Then select Set Variables to set in the start conditions, then hit Play to start the simlation. You can then pause the motion and even step through (forward and backward) different parts (for example when the two objects travel the same distance, or reach the same velocity).

Values of the position and velocity of each object as well as the elapsed time are displayed on the left, ghost images of the position of each are plotted along the 1 distance unit segmented track each 0.5 sec, and graphs of the position vs. time and velocity vs. time for each object are shown at the bottom.
